My Approach
I believe that everyone is capable of learning, even the most dyslexic reader or individual with cognitive limitations. I view the comprehensive evaluation as an essential tool in helping individuals (children, adults) optimize their learning potential by drawing on their strengths and weaknesses. Armed with this knowledge families and individuals are better equipped to choose resources that suit their learning style.
I believe in a highly personalized approach to working with my clients and their families. I am strongly committed to providing feedback to families that is practical and user-friendly, taking pride in linking families up with knowledgeable professionals in the community (tutors, counselors/psychologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, speech services, educational consultants, etc.) to improve areas of functioning.
